"OtaCos" is a shortened form of "Oinai Taki Cosplay Festival," which is held in Taki Town, Mie Prefecture, a serene countryside surrounded by mountains. It is Japan's largest location cosplay event.
"Oinai" is a dialect word from Mie Prefecture, which means "come here" or "welcome".
In the midst of Japan's scenic natural landscapes, please enjoy cosplay to your heart's content!
This edition of 2023 marks a return to our roots after a hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic!
We aim to enhance the event to a level where people from around the world can enjoy the cosplay culture and see Taki Town as a must-visit destination. We want to reach out to a larger audience and make it an event where everyone can revel in the beauty of this town and experience the joy of cosplay!
In addition to performing in a variety of musicals and 2.5 dimensional stage productions, she has also played numerous main characters as a voice actor, and her own theme song for the anime "Pokemon" recorded a double-million sales record. She has been appointed as a Cool Japan Ambassador by the Cabinet Office from 2019, and has been actively performing overseas as well. This is Rika Matsumoto's first appearance on the OtaCos stage!
Don't miss this chance to get your hands on her!
No tickets are required to view the stage.
